Terms of service
Effective October 9, 2026. By installing or using the Tab Workspaces Chrome extension (“Tab Workspaces”), published by EthanApp, you agree to these terms.
1. What Tab Workspaces is
Tab Workspaces saves, restores and organises your browser tabs and windows. It runs entirely in your browser; see the privacy policy for what it handles.
2. Your data and backups
Your workspaces, templates and backups are stored on your computer, not by us, so we cannot recover them for you. Keep your own backups (Settings → Export) of anything important, especially before uninstalling the extension, resetting Chrome or changing computers.
3. Acceptable use
Use Tab Workspaces lawfully. Don't try to break, reverse engineer for harmful purposes, or redistribute modified copies of the extension under its name.
4. Free and paid plans
The features available today are free. If paid plans are added (for example encrypted sync or team libraries), their prices and terms will be shown before you buy, and the features that work on your computer today will not be taken away from the free version.
5. No warranty
Tab Workspaces is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. Chrome may change or remove the features the extension depends on. We do our best to never lose your tabs, but we don't guarantee that it will be error-free or always available.
6. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, EthanApp is not liable for lost data, lost work or any indirect damages from using Tab Workspaces, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months (zero for the free version).
7. Changes
We may update these terms; the effective date above will change. Continuing to use Tab Workspaces after a change means you accept the new terms.
